The Hungarian International Air Show was held on the 16/17th of August though the weather was grey on the first day. Large crowds were treated to a varied and interesting display with aircraft from many countries, east and west. The based SAAB Gripens, newly delivered were present in force though only a few MiG-29s remain operational. Many were in open storage on the base. Definitely one of the best shows of the year.
